Winter Film Festival - National Park Bears

Description: Effigy Mounds National Monument finishes the 47th annual Winter Film Festival with Bears in Our National Parks.

Show times for the film are 10:00, 11:00 a.m., 12 noon, 1:00, 2:00, and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, March 27th and 28th. There will also be a 1:00 p.m. showing on Monday, March 29th.

This is the last of our free Winter Film Festival weekends.

Learn about one of the most feared and respected members of the animal kingdom. See a side of these magnificent animals that few rarely see. Bear expert Gary Brown tells of fascinating bear facts and explains the challenges facing both bear and man to coexist.

This week''s display will feature photography contest winners of the Silos and Smokestacks National Heritage Area.
